The Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce is bringing 15 companies to take part in the supermarket trade fair, which takes place next week in São Paulo. The Brazilian government’s decision to eliminate the import tariff on olive oil is expected to boost business.

Supermarkets of the chain held a promotion campaign of the Date Crown dates in November. The product was the bestseller in the Fruit & Vegetable section.
The Brazilian market imports 7% of the food and beverage it consumes. Arab countries participate as suppliers of sardines, olives, oranges, and other items.
Food and beverage produced in countries like Lebanon, Egypt and Tunisia arrive at the table of Brazilian people to make the holidays more complete. Import volume in November was up 55% from a year earlier.

The sixth edition of the festival began this Thursday (21) and will last four days, bringing together hundreds of producers and over 50 varieties of the fruit that is a symbol of the Arab world.
Al Foah is exhibiting its dates and date products in natural products show Naturaltech in São Paulo until June 11. The company has invested in its brand awareness in Brazil.
